THE CHECKMARK BONDS CARRY A FIXED RATE OF INTEREST THAT RANGES BETWEEN 4% AND 6% PER ANNUM BASED UPON THE CLASS OF BONDS.

CheckMark has been designed to provide an innovative investment vehicle to create growth in your RRSP or other Registered Account.

CheckMark further provides liquidity with Bond Redemptions occurring every five years. Once the Bonds have been redeemed, the cash may be transferred to the Bondholder’s other RRSP accounts for further investment on a tax-free basis.

CheckMark has partnered with legal and tax experts to provide for annual tax deferred returns and guaranteed liquidity within your RRSP account.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Open a New RRSP Account

Open a new RRSP Account with one of our designated Trust Companies who have approved the CheckMark Bonds as qualified investments in Registered Accounts. The Tax Act provides that you may open multiple RRSP accounts without any tax consequences.

Transfer Funds Tax-Free

Make a tax-free transfer of funds from your existing RRSP account to the new RRSP account with our designated Trustee.

Meet the Representative

Consult with the Dealing Representative of our EMD, Meadowbank Asset Management Inc. The EMD will provide you with a copy of the Offering Memorandum and will answer any questions that you might have regarding the CheckMark Bonds and your RRSP.

Investor Qualification Check

The EMD will determine whether you are qualified as either an “eligible investor” or an “accredited investor” under the securities regulations and will determine whether the Bonds are an appropriate investment for you to make.

Complete Subscription Forms

Dealing Representative will assist you in completing the Subscription Agreement and other forms that will be required to issue the CheckMark Bonds into your new RRSP account.

Zoom Consultations

All consultations with the Dealing Representative will be conducted on-line using ZOOM or other conference platform. As well, all documents can be signed electronically on-line for your convenience.
